Johan Cruyff decided to develop his own sports brand which he named CRUYFF TRAINERS. Now today we have designer Cruyff Trainers in the brand. Mr Cruyff envisioned sportswear that was perfectly designed for the technical sports player. Central to his philosophy was the creation of a brand that was both functional and stylish. Little did he know that Van Basten, later compared to a ballerina and Bergkamp, a true virtuoso on the field, were going to play their greatest matches in Cruyff Footwear. Both men embody Cruyff’s ideals, playing perfect technical football with stylish elegance.
Today the Cruyff Trainers include Cruyff Recopa Classics and the Mens Cruyff Vanenburg Trainers collection all available in many sizes.
Throughout the eighties the Cruyff Sports brand was seen on all kinds of sports. The brand developed sportswear for football, but also for indoor sports such as hockey. The Dutch Olympic team proudly wore Cruyff Sportswear during the 1988 Olympic games in Seoul.
